Thank you for visiting the official website for the annual "Shoot For Those In Need" Charity Basketball Game. Our goal is to lend support to the Lookout Emergency Aid Society as well as the Peace Arch Food Bank, which provides help to those most vulnerable during the holiday season. We plan to accomplish our objective by hosting a basketball game that will showcase the best young talent the Lower Mainland has to offer. We plan on attracting avid hoops fans, casual basketball observers, or just those people who are interested in supporting a good cause, to this event. Admission will be by donation and there will be more information about the charities at the door. In addition, we will be accepting any donations of non-perishable food items, as well as jackets, blankets and sweaters.
This year, we are teaming up with DRIVE Basketball, founded by Chad Clifford and Pasha Bains, to put on this years event. For information on DRIVE, please visit their website. We are looking for additional organizers that might be interested in assisting us with this event.
